George Rotas was born in Athens in 1977, obtained his BSc on chemistry in 1998 and PhD degree on synthesis of pyrrole based tricyclics in 2005 at the University of Ioannina. He joined the CNSLab group in 2006 and is currently working on the synthesis of potent electroactive fullerene, azafullerene and carbon nanohorn derivatives, as part of the NANOHOST program.
